Kip Talley serves as Vice President. He is a native of Washington, D.C., and his career has been focused on the government affairs industry covering issue areas related to taxation, defense, tech, government oversight, regulation, labor, and small business.
Prior to him joining Federal Advocates, Kip was Chief of Staff for Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) serving as the Congressman’s principal legislative and political advisor, while managing the D.C. and district staff. He previously served as a government relations professional for the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers’ Association and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association. He has been involved in several political campaigns throughout his career, including those for Members of Congress such as Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA), and Rep. Bill Goodling (R-PA). He has also served as a strategic consultant for other federal political campaigns, with many Members of Congress seeking his counsel and advice. Kip attended The Pennsylvania State University where he majored in political science and minored in philosophy (while hosting multiple radio programs on the University’s radio station, WKPS).
Kip enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his dogs, and Eastern North Carolina BBQ. He and his wife Amber live in Falls Church, VA, and are actively involved with their church and local community.
